City of Sandy Springs Signature Events Branding
The City of Sandy Springs is a relatively new city, earning cityhood in 2005. Since then, many events have been created to celebrate music and art, recognize heros, and establish a great quality of life for the residents of Sandy Springs. The objective of creating new logos for each free public event put on by the City of Sandy Springs is to increase recognition of City events through the development of cohesive branding. Our hope is you'll see elements from the emblem from afar and instantly recognize it as a City of Sandy Springs Signature event.

MLK ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL
Martin Luther King Jr Day is an important day for the City of Sandy Springs. In 2020, we expanded our normal gathering to a family-friendly event featuring interactive art projects and films designed to educate and share the teachings of late Revered Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
SANDY SPRINGS FARMERS MARKET
The Sandy Springs Farmers Market open every Saturday morning from April - November. Residents from all over the Atlanta are can come shop the best that Sandy Springs has to offer, now at its new home at City Springs.
CITY GREEN LIVE
On select spring and summer Friday evenings, the City Green becomes an open-air night club, hosting a variety of musical acts under a moonlit sky. Sing along with nationally known artists and get introduced to the up and coming.
CONCERTS BY THE SPRINGS
Concerts by the Springs transforms the amphitheater at Heritage Park into a candlelit outdoor venue, leaving enough room to let the concert-goers get up and dance!
SANDY SPRINGS LANTERN PARADE
A tradition since 2016, the Lantern Parade lights up Morgan Falls Overlook Park with Flying Pigs, brightly colored globes, parasols and other whimsical creatures as they "Take it to the River" for this popular annual event.
SANDY SPRINGS STARS AND STRIPES CELEBRATION
Considered one of the metro areas largest fireworks show, Sandy Springs Stars and Stripes celebration has become the go-to
fireworks extravaganza. Live music, food, and good times make this dazzling display the ultimate birthday party for our country.
HARVEST MUSIC FESTIVAL
Originally debuting in fall of 2018 as a "Fall Festival Event," Harvest Fest was such a success that it inspired the creation of City Green Live. This was a one-time event featuring local breweries, music, face painting and lawn games for the family.
SPOOKY SPRINGS
Designed for our youngest residents, Spooky Springs is a not-so-frightful, family-friendly event filled with the fun sights and sounds of Halloween! Abernathy Greenway is the place to be with trick-or-treat stations, face painting, and more!
SANDY SPRINGS VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION
Every Veterans Day since 2010, the City pays tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. The event features a keynote speaker, musical tribute, and recognition of each of the country's armed forces.
SPARKLE SANDY SPRINGS
In 2019, Sandy Springs introduced the first Sparkle Sandy Springs Holiday Parade to kick-off the holidays at City Springs. Brightly lit holiday themed floats caravan their way to the City Green to light the Christmas Tree and wave to Santa. There's also a holiday village, leaving City Springs a destination to behold the entire month of December!
